Some basic Q&A regarding KoroGraphics:

Q:  What is Type II wall covering?

A:  Unlike most people's experience with 'wall paper', a 'Type II' product is substantially thicker and comprised of a vinyl face and fabric backing, usually thicker than 20 ounces thick.  You can't rip this stuff - it is too thick!

Q:  What fire ratings do these products pass?

A:  The products are Class A, UL Certified, and NFPA approved.  Essentially, you can put our products in old-folks homes and hospitals and find we are totally compliant.  We've got all the documentation you might need - just ask.

Q:  What are the most popular finishes?  There's a lot to choose from!

A:  By far, Abaco Beach is the #1 selling finish.  It is a texture that looks a bit like sand paper.  This is a nice substrate as it doesn't affect the look of the print much, and it has a very low-glare finish which makes it a bit more forgiving if the dry wall isn't prepared perfectly.  Chubb Rocks and Great Sail are also popular.  You can view the full line by scrolling down on this page.

Q:  Is this stuff expensive?

A:  Not at all.  Figure around $.55ft2 for your cost and most print providers are selling it for $8-$10ft2 un-installed.   It's a great margin product.

Q:  Do I need to liquid laminate it?

A:  Yes and no.  You should talk with your local Hasco representative to see if your application should be laminated or not.  Most cases do not call for the added protection, but it isn't a black-and-white answer.

Q:  How do I install it?

A:  There are a lot of wall covering installers out there, as well as some firms in our industry that specialize in the installation of printed wall coverings.  Ask us, and we'll give you their information.
