Miller Weldmaster
Miller Weldmaster, based in Navarre, Ohio, manufactures hot-air and hot-wedge welding machines to finish vinyl and fabric banners. There are three machines to choose from:
-
T-3: This entry-level Miller unit is designed as a 'baby-brother' to the very popular T-300 Extreme. It is the first table-top unit Miller has designed and fits ideally in a small or medium volume sign or screen print shop. While it isn't quite as fast or bulky as the T-300, it is about $10,000 less than it's bigger brother making it affordable for the shops that don't have a ton of volume but still want to control their finishing in-house. Contact your local Hasco rep for a quote and more information.
-
T300 Extreme: This popular unit is for hems and pockets only. The machine is very fast, capable of doing a 3'x6' banner with hems on all four sides in just over a half-minute. If you do mulitple, smaller banners with hems & pockets, then this is the machine for you! -
112 Extreme: This large welding machine is primarily found in shops which do considerable amounts of either billboard or building-side graphics. Starting at 10 feet long and capable of any length, these machines will do oversized pockets and hems, overlaps, butt-seams, truck-side beading, and cut on a laser-line. -
Impulse Extreme: This machine can be slotted into a few markets. For starters, it does a variety of applications, easily. The 10 foot machine will do overlaps and pockets, as well as hems. The Impulse uses a heated bar with heat-impulses which create the welds. It is very, very easy to operate. A unique aspect about the Impulse is that it can do welds into a variety of fabrics. Imagine pockets and hems in fabrics without thread!
